New Feature | News Headline Discussions

We have activated a new feature, which is available to all registered members.

After the weather, our scrolling marquis displays the latest Cayman news headlines. You can now click on any news item that interests you and read a brief description of the story, along with a corresponding photo, when available.

On the right, you will see a button to ?discuss this topic?. If you want to comment or discuss the topic, simply click that button and it will create and open a new topic in our Cayman News and Announcements forum. Once a topic has been created, subsequent clicks will be directed to their corresponding topics so you can join in the discussion.

We do not encourage heated political debates but do feel that as visitors to the Cayman Islands, you should be able to express your comments and contribute to discussions that pertain to developments that may be of interest to visitors.

One word of caution: I will not allow our friendly peaceful community to turn into a confrontational battle zone for political diatribes. Please keep your discussions friendly, courteous and topical. Personal attacks of any kind will not be tolerated.

I am hopeful that our new feature will encourage more discussions; increase member participation and interaction; and develop many new friendships among visitors to the Cayman Islands.
