This will be mine and my husband's second trip to Grand Cayman since last year, (we plan on becoming regulars) and this time we'd like to try a dinner cruise. We are 26 and 25, but aren't into party boats, so we'd like something quiet, romantic, and with quality food. Preferably something under $100 each. Thanks! Smile

Welcome to the forum sarah_jane Laughing ,

Glad you found us! How lucky you are to be able to go to Cayman twice in one year! I think you'll find a lot of information here on our forum, and we can always use more advice from people like you who love the Caymans as much as the rest of us do.

It just so happens, that Joe, the administrator and creator of this message board, has just put together a special dinner cruise that may be just what you're looking for. Read about it here -

Now, mind you, you wouldn't be all by yourself.....but I think that if I remember what Joe said, it's a boat that would hold 50 people and they probably would never take more than 20. I think that's what I remember.

Anyway, maybe that will work for you!

By the way, do you know yet where you will be staying? We have a great hotel search function here now, giving great discounts for being a member of this board. This may help you make up your mind if you haven't decided yet where to stay, and maybe even save you some money! Check it out!

Again, welcome!

Char

Edited cause I just now saw that you have decided on Turtle Nest Inn. Well....if you haven't booked it yet, maybe you could still get a discount, otherwise, there's always next time!

Yep we've already booked, but thanks for the tip. I probably worded that wrong, this is our first trip since going last April. Oh I wish we could go more than once a year though!

Thank you for that link! That sounds exactly like what we were looking for. We are definately going to book this one. I can't wait.

Hi sarah_jane - Welcome to our forum. Very Happy

You are going to love the Oh Boy sunset dinner cruise and it's well under $100 with your Activity Guide discount. It's the lowes-priced most upscale and intimate cruise on the island. I know - I helped put it together. Very Happy

Be sure to check out our Stingray City and Horseback Riding topics. There are a few things that you just don't want to miss. Wink

Here is a list of the things we did on our last trip:

Rum Point

Turtle Farm

Stingray City

Blowholes

Cemetery Beach

Horseback riding

Butterfly farm

Pirate caves

Atlantis boat

This next trip we want to snorkel at some new places, see the botanical gardens, take a sunset cruise, try many new restaurants, and anything else that is highly reccommended.

Did you try the Swim the Horses ride with Pampered Ponies? That is like no other experience you will ever do. Wink

Hi sara_jane and Theresa White. Welcome to the forum. Sara_Jane we are so happy to have you come back. It's always nice to hear that someone had such a good time on their first visit that they had to return! There is always something else to add to the list, for you can never get it all done in one trip. Atleast that is what I have found out. You will find that most of our frequent visitors here on the forum are repeat guests many times over.

Theresa, you will want to spend some time just reading some of our posts and you will find that just about anything you could think to ask as already been answered but we are all here to help so if you cant find an answer to your question, chances are someone here will know the answer or know where to direct you.

Glad you both found us and welcome once again!
