Hi,

Could someone tell me in your opinion which is the best Luau if I had to choose one, at the Marriott or at Stingers? Is there dancing after both of them?

Wow tough call,.....really hate to put one over the other, especially since I have yet to sample them personally, and both being CAG recommended. ThumbsUp

Guess you will just have to try them both. Very Happy I was planning on doing this too, as they do not conflict with each other as they are on different nights. dancing

Which is the best luau to check out? Stingers or the Hyatt luau. And, which days? I looked at the Stingers on line and at the Hyatt. And...... it looks like the Hyatt is offered on Friday nights only. Is this correct? Also, one more thing...... Do we need reservations? We will be in the Caymans October 26 - November 2, 07.... First Trip..... Getting really excited!!!!! Margarita

Thanks everyone!!!!!

Does the Hyatt have a luau? I wonder if you are thinking of the Mariott's Buccaneer Feast on Friday nights Rolling Eyes .

Char,

Unless the Hyatt began hosting a luau very recently, I believe rodnsue may be confusing it with the Marriott, as you suggest. I have not heard anything about a luau from any of my good friends at the Hyatt.... who would have certainly told me!

In lieu of a luau... (much easier to type than say!)... there's always the private dining on the beach... which I'd heartily recommend!

We went to both back in February, and I liked the one at the Marriott best simply because it overlooks the water. Stingers is by the pool and you can't see the ocean from there. The same fire dancer does both of them.

slb083,

I came across some old postings on the forum from last Fall, and it seems that Stingers did the same thing last October. I guess business is pretty slow at that time, so they just decided to take a break for a few weeks.

Anyway, I can't imagine that you will find problems doing other things you want to do, like Stingray City or the submarine or whatever. Maybe they won't offer as many trips each day or something, but I'm sure they'll be open. Be sure to call early in the week, though, so that you won't be disappointed.

slb083 - I received your email and forwarded it to the Marriott. That was the wrong, very old, email contact for the Marriott. Please tell me where you found that email address so I can remove or update it.
