sports bar for boxing ppv?

What a great website! My wife and I will be reading through the site over the next couple of weeks and I'm sure we'll be asking some questions about numerous vacation type things. We'll be sure to read existing posts first though as it looks like there is a ton of info here.

I feel silly asking this as my first post but we'll be on the island for the oscar delahoya vs floyd mayweather boxing match held on May 5, 07.

Does anyone know if there is a good sports bar on the island that will be showing the fight?

Glad you found us and thanks for the kind words. You're taking the right approach.......do as much reading as you can and then feel free to ask any and all questions! There's no such thing as a dumb question on this forum!

As far as this question about where to watch boxing, all I can say is that there are several sports bars on the island where I would say the chances might be best. First to come to mind would be the Legendz Spors Bar which is connected to the Eats Restaurant....that's located directly across from the Westin Hotel. Then there's places like the Lone Star and Coconut Joe's...both of those are along the West Bay Road, along 7 Mile Beach.

I'm sure you'll find someplace to watch it!
