?Weddings Away - Cayman Islands? Airs on the Travel Channel

Celebrations invites the public to viewing

Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands, BWI- 16 June, 2006. The much-anticipated final three episodes of Weddings Away ? Cayman Islands will air in June on the Travel Channel. Scheduled to air on June 26th, 27th and 28th at 9:00 am (10:00 am EST), the final three episodes will showcase eight Celebrations weddings held at various locales in the Cayman Islands and a surprise engagement.

Weddings Away was filmed over fourteen weeks between October 2005 and January 2006 and documents the destination weddings produced by Jo-Anne Brown and the Celebrations team. Originally aired in February, the series was rescheduled to coincide with the summer 2006 wedding season.

?The response from the first three episodes was overwhelming. Weddings Away generated significant awareness of the Cayman Islands as a desirable wedding and honeymoon destination,? says Jo-Anne Brown, Managing Director of Celebrations. ?We still get inquiries daily from people who have seen the show back in February. We are so proud to have been able to showcase Cayman to the world in this way.?

Numerous potential brides and grooms have contacted the company to plan their weddings. They have requested information about the d?cor used on the weddings in the show. Mrs. Brown has also been approached for two other wedding documentaries and to speak at a wedding seminar in Trinidad and Tobago. She has contributed editorial content for a feature in the winter edition of the international wedding magazines Destination Weddings and Honeymoons, Destination I Do and pictorial content in In Style Weddings and Cayman Airways? Horizons magazine.

?Never in my wildest dreams did I expect the response we?ve had so far!? declared Mrs. Brown. ?Our planners and designers have received fan mail and international wedding planners have been vying to join our team. Celebrations loves to create weddings and events. We?re just happy for the opportunity to expose the myriad of services that are offered in the Cayman Islands. Our talented team is able to transform the amazing locations in our island paradise into picture-perfect destination weddings. As our motto states, ?Our Passion is Perfection.??

The company will launch its expanded website (www.celebrationsltd.com) to coincide with the summer airing of the series. Brides, meeting planners and incentive groups will have access to information and pictures demonstrating Celebrations? services and events as well as activities available in the Cayman Islands.

To celebrate the showing of the last three episodes, Celebrations will be hosting 3 Breakfast Mornings in their newly renovated store at the Mirco Centre. The public is invited to have breakfast from 8:00 am and watch the show with the Celebrations team and enjoy special discounts and prizes throughout each morning.

That is great news. I still have the previous episodes on my TIVO. Can't wait to see the next ones. So beautiful - After reading Shelly's wedding story - I think hers would have made an action packed and beautiful event to watch. I will set up my TIVOs tonight so I won't miss this.

clapping

Note to middletb - Maybe there is a good friend who could tape it for you?

If anyone is able to post these episodes online it would be greatly appreciated. We are not able to get the U.S. Travel Channel here in Canada.
