We just got my sons' passports in the mail today. The enclosed brochure says that some countries will not permit you to enter if your passport has less than 6 months validity.

Does anyone know we will have any problems getting in to Cayman?? Sad

I never have had a problem. Just as long as you stated departure date comes before the expiration date spin

holdfast4,

Do I understand that you have brand new passports for your son? I think the validity issue is if your passport is set to expire withing six months of your trip.

Next Vacation : 290 Days ( Grand Cayman, I hope! )    Start : Apr/20/2009     End : Apr/28/2009

The passports for my sons are brand new. I guess having reread the brochure it could be interpreted either way! I'm sure we'll be fine.

Thanks!

Yes, haltom is right...... the new rule is that some countries want your passport to have more than six months left on it before it expires......I think that is a rule now for traveling on cruise ships.

So, if you're son's is new, you have no problem Smile ,

Char
