Rum Point is shady trees, picnic tables, hammocks and tranquility, accentuated with abundant food, beverage and watersport amenities.

Take a leisurely drive around the island and make a day of it. Bring a good book and while away the hours under a shady tree or move your lounge chair to the edge of the sandy beach and soak up the rays.

An immense shallow turquoise lagoon furnishes the ideal environment for children and novice swimmers and snorkelers.

Enjoy a delicious mudslide as you sway in a hammock overlooking one of the most beautiful stretch of beach on the island. Rum Point is a very special place.

I read an article in Cayman Compass today that the Hyatt was not going to be managing Rum Point as of Nov. 1 and the owners were looking for someone to manage it. I think it said that it would be closed for a month and would reopen

Sure hope they get someone---that would definitely be a loss to the area. Anyone know anything else about this?

These two ladies worked at Rum Point BEFORE Hyatt. And left when they decided to go to hot dogs and hamburger. They made the BEST Turtle stew on sundays which was a day when all the Caymanians came out with their families. A real family time.

And the key lime pie oh my gosh

and the grouper nuggets, fresh caught

oh my

ok you know where my thought process is going.
