in aug myself, husband and 2 sons ages 15, 12 will be arriving by cruise ship. what should we do for the day. i don't want to spend a ton of money but want to have a good day here. we really are not snorkelers but love the beach .

Welcome to the forum, cruisex3 Smile ,



I would highly recommend taking a trip to Stingray City, because it's just not something that you can do anywhere else in the world! You don't have to pay the high prices charged by the cruise ships, however.........we highly recommend Soto's Cruises for this.....they will pick you up at the port after you arrive and they can either deliver you back to Georgetown for some shopping, or they can take you to the beautiful beach at the Royal Palms for some fun in the sun. Besides that, you can have food and drink there too! Then, you can catch a cab for a short ride back to the port.



By the way, when these trips take you to Stingray City, they take you to a spot that is really quite shallow, so you don't really have to snorkel.....basically, just walk around. There will be another snorkeling spot, but they will provide you with all the gear and instructions that you need so that you will be comfortable.



Please spend some time reading through some of the posts here in this forum that discuss this very thing.
