I am wondering where the best snorkeling or kayak tour is in George Town Grand Cayman. This is our first time on a cruise ship and by the sounds of it the area becomes very busy when these ships port. Arriving a few months down the road on April 29 2008 for the day. Also what is the best way to get there from the dock. Cheers Lin

That really is a must-do, since you really can't do that anywhere else in the world! We recommend Soto's Cruises for that, and if you contact them ahead of time, for example, over the Internet, you will get a great price! I think it's $35 US per adult (pay in cash or travelers check). After swimming with the rays, they'll take you to another spot for snorkeling....it's a great trip! They will pick you up at the dock, so no worries about how to find them......after the tour then can either take you back into Georgetown or drop you off somewhere along 7 Mile Beach, like the Royal Palms, where you could swim and have a bite to eat (and drink!). We recommend the Cayman Kayak tours, but they operate from way over on the other side of the island, and I'm not sure they would come and get you in Georgetown. Char
