We want to do the Snorkeling with the sting rays thru sotos and we also want to go parasailing. Do you think we would be able to do both of them?

Do the rays in the morning and I think you should have time to parasail. What time do you need to be back aboard the ship?

Have Fun,

I totally agree with rdandcc......the determining factor is how long your ship will be in port. Since you have to tender from the ship into Georgetown, you have to allow time for that.

But, I would think if your ship is in port for a nice long day, then you shouldn't have any problem doing both the morning Soto's trip and then parasailing with Parasailing Professionals in the early afternoon.

From what I understand, the parasailing can all be done in about an hour, including the time taking you back and forth from the beach in their boat. Time in the air is about 8 to 10 minutes.

So, you should be able to do it.....might be a good idea though to make your parasailing arrangements ahead of time. The contact information for Parasailing Professionals can be found here .....

Be sure to mention the Activity Guide because I think you will get a discount

Our boat will be in port from 7am-4pm. Thanks for your all your help. I will be giving them both a call to schedule it. How long does it usually take to tender to and from the ship?

Gosh, not sure.......the tender trip itself is just 5 or 10 minutes, I think. Just don't know how long you have to wait on the ship in order to get off.

Anyway, you should be fine. I think that Soto's will tell you that they will pick you up near your cruise terminal at 8:30 a.m. to go on their 9:30 to 11:30 morning trip.

You should be fine!

Char
