I booked Sotos and just got our confirmation for $30/each. Thanks for the help with that and everything else. This is a wonderful source of information for the Caymans. Cheers

Seabreeze,

Did you use the coupon, or tell them you would be bringing a coupon from this site? There is a coupon for Soto's in the Cayman Activity Guide, and one you can print from this site.

:o I know I have probably overlooked this info. I looked honestly! Does Sotos have an email address for advance reservations? I did find their phone. We arrive the first week of march for the day. I thought we would do the stingray city trip with Sotos. If I understand correctly I can than have them drop us at Comfort Suites from there we can make our way back on foot with possible stops at The Wharf and Calico Jacks. I understand the Florida ships (carnival) stay on Eastern time and in March 8 to 5 on the boat is 8 to 5 in GC? I think. Yikes! We range in age from 13 to 62. Grandpa is a very young 62 at that.

Ooops! Embarassed I missed the second part, sorry. They will drop you at Comfort Suites if you want and the walk back to the dock from Comfort Suites is about 2 miles.

How can I get a coupon on this site for Sotos? I did not see it on the discount coupon page. I also pulled up the cruise ship discount page and it wasn't there either. Thanks for the help.

We just got back and used the coupon for Sotos cruises in the Activity Guide. Well, it wasn't really a coupon, it was more like an ad where you mention the ad and get a $24 price. Just call them and mention the ad, I guess. I have their number. It's 345.945.4576. I think the gal's name was Carrie. Bring a camera if you have one, even a cheap disposable will work there.

pwagers,

Will you be a cruise ship passenger or staying on island?

I just looked and see that there is no on line coupon for Sotos. If you are a cruise ship passenger, you will need to call Kerry at Sotos. Tell her you would like the Cayman Activity Guide discounted price. Kerry is a doll of a woman, and she will help you out.

If you are flying in, you can pick up a guide [or two] at the airport.

I just received a note back that the price is $30 from Soto's and they no longer accept the coupons. They said $24 was last year's price, is this the case?

Thanks!!

Hi L.A.S.T.

I think CI$24 works out to be US$30 so that may clear up the confusion.

Yes, another coupon (not from you site) listed as $24 USD from May, I guess that is where the problem is.

Does that mean their posted website is $30 CI, or is there just no longer any discounts for their tour?

Thanks!!

L.A.S.T.

Soto's online pre-booked price is US$30 which is roughly equal to CI$24. You don't need to use the coupon to get the online rate, but it would be a good idea to mention Activity Guide and tell them you are a message board member. Wink
