Parasailing Professionals offer the longest and highest rides in comfort and safety. Within reasonable weight restrictions, two people can even ride at the same time!

Parasailing Professionals will pick you up almost anywhere on Seven Mile Beach and can make arrangements to transport cruise ship passengers.

Call them at: 1-345-916-2953

Let them know when you are coming and when you want to fly.

Mention the Activity Guide discount and book direct for the best rates!

Approx. how much does it cost?

How long is the ride?

Are there age limitations?

Discounts/coupons available?

Discounts for groups?

Can two people para-sail at the same time?

Are there multiple companies offering para-sail rides?

When I get off the cruise ship, where do I go?

Hi Dan - Welcome to the forum.

When I get off the cruise ship, where do I go?

I recommend Parasailing Professionals and if you mention Activity Guide and book direct they will give you the best price.

You can call them at 1-345-916-2953

Call again to confirm when you arrive, there are pay phones near the cruise dock. They will tell you where they are flying and how to get there. It's usually about a 15 minute walk from the dock.

Approx. how much does it cost?

Single US$65

Double US$110

How long is the ride?

10 minutes minimum air time - About 1/2 hr total with the shuttle in and out from the beach.

Are there age limitations?

No, but there are weight considerations. For instance, two large people would not be able to ride together.

Discounts for groups?

Discounts/coupons available?

5 or more 10% discount

10 or more 20% discount

Can two people para-sail at the same time?

Yes

Are there multiple companies offering para-sail rides?

No others that I recommend

Appreciate any information you can provide prior to my departure 4/17 so that I can make reservations. Looking forward to visiting Cayman

No problem, please tell them I sent you and have a wonderful vacation!

topcat011 - Welcome to the forum.

Parasailing Professionals do not have a web site. They are the most popular parasailing company on the island, and you will receive a discout for booking direct and mentioning Activity Guide. If you have any specific questions I will be happy to answer them for you. Very Happy

we are going on a carnival cruise to the caymans in mid january of next year and I want to go parasailing. How early should we make a reservation with the parasailing professionals and can we walk from the dock to where it is at? also is it better to parasail in the morning or afternoon? let me know please because we want to rent a waverunner and hang out at the beach too so just want to know what order we should do things in ..

is Red Sail the best place to rent a waverunner? also any nice/cheap places to have lunch within walking distance so we don't have to go back to the ship for lunch. any info would help me out - thanks

Welcome to the forum, lnroe Laughing ,

I'm glad that you have found us, and it's great that you are starting early to make all your plans.

If you spend some time poking around the forum and reading some of the posts, I think you'll find most of the answers to your questions. You might want to start by going into the Making the Most of One Day Category.

At the beginning of this thread, Joe has answered someone's question about whether or not Parasailing Professionals is in walking distance from the dock.....seems that they might be a 15 minute walk or so.

There are many places to have lunch.......Hard Rock Cafe, Aqua Beach, Stingers and Coconut Joe's are casual and the least expensive.....Lobster Pot and the Wharf would be a little pricier, but are very nice. You probably aren't going to go back to your ship for lunch, since Grand Cayman is a tender port and that will just take too much time!

I'm sure you can find wave runners to rent much cheaper than Red Sail Sports.....they are usually the most expensive. I think wave runners are for rent at both the Marriott Beach Resort and the Royal Palms beach area....

Like I said, spend some time reading around the forum....and then be sure to keep asking more questions. We're here to help!

Char

I'm too cheap to make a long distance call to find information, but my wife wants to know before we head back down in January, so...

Are the rates quoted above ($65/$110) still valid?

Is it less than that with a CAG discount (even in January)?

Do they run 7 days a week?

I have no idea why someone who can't climb a ladder and has to "self medicate" in order to get on a plane wants to parasail, but she does.

Thanks.

Our apologies for not being more on top this, but we drive boats and don't press keyboards too often. After a suggestion from the admin we've come up with this to be more of service to you.

We are still operating along Seven Mile Beach but no longer really at Royal Palms beach. Actually, Nigel updated us in December, 2007, to say that they are once again operating out of the Royal Palms.......in addition, they will pick you up from wherever you may be along the 7 Mile Beach

Guest Pick Up - We will pick up guests anywhere convienent for them along Seven mile Beach. With regards to cruise passengers we can collect you from right next to the cruise terminal, all free of charge.

Cost - 120 USD for double rides and 70 for singles.

Age/WeightRestrictions - Although somewhat dependant on weather conditions, typically from 180 lbs - 400. Age, - we are not too specific with age as long as small ones (4-5yrs) fit the harness properly.

Ride Duration - typically from when we pick you up, to when you get back 45mins with 8-10 min airtime.

The boat is shaded roomy and very comfortable. For 15 years we've been providing the most friendly, efficient, and recongised service and therefore are experts and getting you out, up and back with more time for other activities.

Let us know if we can help to get you or anyone else in the sky,

hope this helps,

nigel

Thanks for the update, Nigel! That is very nice of you to let us know those details so that we can give our members the most accurate information possible.

I made your post into a "sticky" so that it will remain in a predominant position among the posts in this part of the forum.

Thanks again,

Char
