Hi lukehobbart - CNB is the most visitor-friendly and secure bank on the island, which is why we highly recommend them. They provide account access to manage everything online and offer the most extensive account options, debit/credit cards, transfers, etc., at the most competitive rates.

There is no bank in the Cayman Islands that will open an account for anyone without a reference letter from their bank because it?s a Monitory Authority requirement. All they need to see is that you are a member in good standing with an existing bank in the US. I can?t imagine it would cost more than a few dollars - if anything and require much more than a simple fax or phone call.
