What hotels are next to the Villas of the Galleon? My friend is getting married there but I want to check around to see what other hotels are next to or within a one or two block walking distance of the villas. Can anyone help me out with this? Thanks!

Villas of the Galleon is book-ended by the Westin to the North and the Ritz to the south. Both of these are high end resorts that command top $$. If you are looking for something nice but a little more reasonable, the Courtyard by Marriott is just up the road and the Marriott Beach Resort is a little longer walk down at the south end of the beach. Also a little further down the beach is the very nice, all suites, Comfort Suites. Why not also consider a condo. Most, if not all the condos are right on the beach and offer all the amenities of home (separate living/sleeping areas, kitchens, etc.) at around the same cost as a hotel room. Casa Caribe and the Meridian are close to the Villas. A little further away are the Grandview Condos and Treasure Island condos - these are a little more reasonable $$. Check out this website for discounts and specials at all of these places!

Thanks for the info. I'll check out some of these places and see what I can afford...I know I can't afford the Westin or the Ritz. Thanks!

Hi Tracy,

You might also want to consider staying at Villas of the Galleon. Check out ******************************************************* bedroom ocean front condo. This is a great option if you have more than 2 in your party. If not, perhaps you can consider sharing with others. The owner might even consider a better price if you make an offer.

Good luck and have fun! --Pam

Hi and thanks for the reply. We are staying at the Villas of the Galleon as the owner has given the wedding party and guests a great deal! She's offered us a free night and the more rooms we book for the wedding, the bigger the discount. So this had turned out to be just as reasonable as hotels close by, except we get to be right on the beach! We are very excited about the vacation and can't wait to stay there! Thanks again for your replies!
