Joe,

Great video... the restaurant looks nice... and the food delicious...

Although we have Lobster Pot on our list of restaurants when we go in 2 weeks... we were undecided... will have to show this to my wife... you'll have to excuse me... sounds like my stomach is growling...

My family had a wonderful meal here in June. We had crabcake and conch fritter appetizers. My husband and I both had Lobster, Shrimp and grilled Mahi Mahi. My daughter had a lightly breaded saut?ed Mahi Mahi recomended by our waiter. Excellent meal and service. Our reservation had been for 7:15. We arrived at 7:05 as the sun was beginning to set. What wonderful timing. I took pictures until almost 7:15. It doesn?t last long, but we were so lucky to see it. Here is one of my favorite pictures from that evening at the Lobster Pot -

Kay,

That is truly a beautiful shot. Not sure which I like better... the photo or your menu selections... Smile

Although I love basically all seafood, my wife does not... does the Lobster Pot have non-seafood items on the menu?

Thanks, John

We have gotten impeccable service and wonderful meals there! Also....it's fine dining but not "stuffy".

Thanks Sue - I forgot to mention lunch and I eat lunch there all the time. Embarassed

They offer lunch from 11:30 - 2:30 and dinner from 5:00 - 10:00pm seven days a week, except they are not open for lunch on weekends.

Thanks Joe, gardengirl, Celine & NorthSideSue,

Sounds like Lobster Pot is a keeper for either lunch or dinner... particularly with a window/waterview.

Since Kay was there in June and sunset was approximately 7:15 pm, would sunset be about 6:30 - 6:45 pm when we are there in 2 weeks? Would love to catch a sunset dinner, but that is a tad early... so l'm guessing pre-dinner cocktails at that time. Thanks again everyone.

Looks great, where is it? I LOVE lobster, even though I prefer Maine lobster I still can't wait to get our window table and "dive in"!

jpep - You will find the current sunrise and sunset times in our Weather Fourm:

Sunset is currently 6:02pm so I would subtract a few minutes to compensate for when you will be here in a few weeks. I would try to get there at least 15 minutes before sunset; they don't last very long in the tropics and you want a little time to settle in, compose the shot, etc. Wink

ajtux- Lobster pot is at the easternmost end of George Town, before you get into the more crowded areas. You will easily be able to locate them with the maps and locator numbers in Activity Guide. Wink

They are on a main road and very easy to find with plenty of free parking.
