Unfortunately we have to leave on Sunday. Are there any places to grab a bite to eat in the airport for lunch before our flight after we make it through security?

I would strongly suggest that you eat before reaching the airport. The airport only has a very small sandwich shop.

It does not take long to get through Cayman security.

I agree that the airport only has a small sandwich shop, but they have great meat patties and spicey hot dogs from Island Taste!!

Good for those who dont smoke......but an interesting catch you out!!! A long time without a ciggie if you do smoke and your heading through for a long haul.

You could use the coupon in Activity Guide and get sandwiches from Subway the night before. Wink

We ate at the airport last year.......the food was pretty crappy and expensive....think this year we'll hit a grocery store for snacks to eat on the way home......do any of the stores close to 7 Mile Beach have a Deli? It would be nice to get some fresh sandwiches to take with us. Flight home is at 2:00 P.M. but we'll have to be at the airport by noon for sure.

What a GREAT idea Joe.....Subways with coupon the night before.....there, that's settled. Always have gotten the patties before, but can get a Subway to eat for the second lap of the flight where I usually dash thru Charlotte's airport and customs and arrive home STARVED!

Joe,

You rock!

On our last trip, we ate at the airport in the little tent outside the entrance because they hadn't rebuilt the upstairs area from Ivan. Subway would've been heavenly!

Subway is a great idea but we would not have a place to store them in a refrigerator.......that's why I was wondering if any grocery stores near 7 Mile Beach have a nice deli where we could pick something up late in the morning before we head to the airport.
