New oceanfront tiki bar located at the Cracked Conch. Only a few feet from the dive entry/exit ladder, it’s the perfect spot for lunch and drinks after a shore dive. Very popular among the locals, drink specials and live music on most nights. Located in West Bay, Map 2. Phone: 945-3000.

We are thinking of trying this place on Monday night. The web site said that they are having an "Industry Party" and happy hour that night. Does anyone have any idea what that is??

Thanks

I think that every Monday night at Macabuca has Happy Hour prices from 5 p.m. til closing (1 a.m.?), and I think they always call it Industry Party Night, but I'm not really sure why......

We tried to go to it last March, but the waves were too rough that night, and with all that salt spray and water, the bands couldn't set up Crying or Very sad .

I'm sure you'll have fun! I hear it gets pretty crowded on Monday nights!

Have a great trip!

Char

We're going in May (20-30) and was wondering where Macabuca is located and if they have a band every Monday night? Even in May?

Thanks

Macabuca is at the Cracked Conch, at the end of seven mile beach by the turtle farm. We were there last year and they had live music, forgot what night. It's probably listed in the Activity Guide.

I'd recommend checking the current version of the CAG online, by clicking on the magazine button above, or consulting a hard copy when you arrive. Alternatively, you can contact the Cracked Conch/Macabuca directly, for post publication changes. With that caveat, I believe the following is the schedule:

Monday Night at Macabuca is still Industry Night featuring all you can eat BBQ $15CI from 6-10 pm, with a DJ from 9pm to 1am.

Tuesday Night has live reggae on the Cracked Conch's outdoor deck.

Wednesday Night has live music with the well renowned Hi Tide at the Cracked Conch.

Thursday, live steel drum band at the Cracked Conch

Friday has live music with Chuck & Barrie at Macabuca.

Don't forget to mention CAG!

Enjoy! ThumbsUp
