food hodgepodge: luaus, patties and rotis questions

Hi all:

My lil bro is coming to visit me in CI (his first time south of RI!) and I want to show him around. Problem is, I haven't been here long enough to figure out anything not related to working, apartment hunting and car buying! Some of the things I want him to experience are culinary delights. Here are my questions:

1. Which luau is the best value? I know that the Marriott Feast is good but at $50 per head, it's double the price of the other ones. I saw there is one at stingers and also a "feast" (?) at Sunshine Suites. How is the food and show at Stingers and Sunshine Stes? Also, is there a fire show at Sunshine Suites or just live music? Any other ones?

2. Where can I buy some really good patties? I've heard there are lobster ones to be had? yum!

3. Where can I find good roti? I had one at Cimboco and it was waaay too bland.

Sunshine Suites is not really a luau, it's more of a Caribbean cultural experience, with authentic Caribbean food, music and drinks. The choice between Stingers and the Marriott is the quality and quantity of food. The Marriott has a much larger selecton of food and costs more. The shows are the same, except the Marriott is on the beach and Stingers is poolside. They all offer exceptional value so the choice depends on your particular interests, budget and taste.

Aqua Beach has the best restaurant style patties. You can also get the fast food version at any gas station.
