Hog Sty Bay Cafe and the Blue Parrot

In doing my investigating for our trip in January '09, I've found out that my two favorite establishments on the island are no longer. Those establishments being Hog Sty Bay Cafe and Pub and the Blue Parrot.

I was wondering if there was another English pub that someone could recommend. Preferably along the same lines and feel as Hog Sty?

I"m guessing, as Coconut Joe's is across the street from our condo, that it will take the place of the Blue Parrot, but I"m going to miss the ocean views while downing some cocktails. Smile

Any advice would be appreciated.

WELCOME to the board Midtown Tim..............and Coconut Joe's is VERY fun and the food/drinks are WONDERFUL! Haven't been there for breakfast, because we stay on another part of the island, but board members RAVE about them......AND the ribs!

I'm not a huge ribs fan. They seem like a lot of work for not much reward. Smile

My parents were pretty well adopted by the folks at Joe's during their stay. Which is something that they appreciate where ever they go. And especially with it being right across the street, it removes the temptation to test Cayman's finest and their enforcement of DUI. Very Happy

not a big fan of ribs myself.........don't like food I end up "wearing" and ribs and corn on the cob are two of the biggest culprits.

Wow...Hog Sty Bay Cafe....brings back memories. I have a picture somewhere of Wade and I there having breakfast on our honeymoon in 1996...just a few years ago....loved the huevos rancheros....
