Amazing, Joe! Wish I'd known about him when I was working on some art for our house...wanted a painting of the waterfront in Georgetown...

Any idea what originals are selling for on average? I know with art that is a difficult question, but I was just curious...

Just so we don't scare everyone off, I should mention that Guy Haravey has products starting as low as $5. They offer something to fulfill even the most modest of budgets, and of course all the way up to serious art for connoisseurs and collectors who are willing to spend a little more for original works by an internationally renowned artist.

From meeting Guy and having known Wyland from Hawaii I became aware of many similarities among these two very dedicated and gifted individuals. They know each other and actually worked together on at least one of the famous massive mural walls (I forgot which one) and both share a common interest in the preservation and responsible stewardship of our marine environment. Besides funding non-profit marine preservation organizations, they spend an enormous amount of time on those walls (some of them are hundreds of feet in size) and their only incentive for painting them is to elevate the conscious and awareness of the general public to marine ecology. So in a very real way, patronizing Guy Harvey?s gallery is analogous to contributing to the ongoing awareness and preservation of one of our most precious and highly threatened resources, our marine environment.
