Southern Cross Club

New Photos Coming Soon.

The perfect complement to Little Cayman Island's outstanding diving is Southern Cross Club's equally outstanding service and amenities. You'll find their staff not only capable and professional but friendly and accommodating. They are happy to do anything they can do to make your stay more enjoyable.

Their rooms are spacious, air-conditioned and feature tasteful tropical decor. Each comes with a balcony or patio, cable TV, ceiling fan, private bath and breathtaking views.

Wireless Internet is available in all rooms as well as a rental computer in the lobby area.

For the ultimate in comfort, luxury oceanfront rooms are complete with microwave, refrigerator and coffeemaker, as well as private balcony or patio

Note: All rooms are smoke-free. Guests may smoke on the patio or in the bar area.

They offer a spacious ocean-view freshwater pool and Jacuzzi.

Don't forget to pack your appetite and thirst, because great-tasting food and ice-cold beverages abound.

In 2007, for the tenth year in a row, over 20,000 divers rated their favorite sites, resorts, dive operations and more. Little Cayman and Southern Cross Club took top honors for Best Wall Diving, Best Fishlife, Best Visibility, Healthiest Marine Environment, Best Dive Operation, Best Resort and Best Destination. That's a lot of "Best's." And a testament to the quality of the diving and the services they offer. From Phillipe Cousteau to David Doubliet, just about every diver has stated that Little Cayman is one of the world's premier dive destinations ? with pristine water quality, excellent visibility, and incredible diving.

See dozens of underwater pictures of Little Cayman

Their resort-owned and managed dive center has everything you need: a fleet of modern, custom-designed dive boats, a complete inventory of tanks and scuba gear, not to mention a full staff of seasoned guides and professional instructors. They offer certification for Nitrox diving, providing an additional margin of safety for your next dive. Plus, to be sure you capture every exciting moment of every dive, their Photo & Video Center has a selection of underwater video and photography equipment for rent, plus on-site digital and E-6 processing.

They operate two custom-designed super dive boats built by Newton Boats of Slidell, Louisiana. Forty-two feet long and 16 feet wide, they're powered by twin caterpillar 350-hp, 3126 cat diesel engines and have a cruising speed of 25 mph. They feature over 500 square feet of floor and deck space, dual ladders, stand-up showers and a padded camera table. Praised by divers for their ease of entering and exiting the water, they are also favored for their many safety features.

RESORT ACTIVITIES:

In addition to some of the best diving, snorkeling and bonefishing on the planet, Southern Cross Club also offers:

? 500 feet of beautiful white sand beach

? Snorkeling, swimming, beach volleyball, ping-pong, tetherball, horseshoes, basketball, darts, bicycles and kayaks

? Freshwater swimming pool with heated Jacuzzi

? Chaise lounges at pool and beach; complimentary beach towels

? Lighted tennis court

? Game room with board games and TV with VHS/VCR for playback of dive videos

? Full Guest Activities Program, including Welcome Drink, Weekly Managers' Rum Punch Cocktail Party and much more

The resort has whatever you need to make your stay special. In the boutique or the dive shop you'll find everything from postcards and swimsuits to dive gear and underwater cameras. For those who like to mix business with pleasure (or vice-versa) they have a conference and meeting center.

There's plenty to do outside the resort, too. Little Cayman boasts the third largest bird sanctuary in the Caribbean and they encourage guests to arrange for a tour to see all the island's sites, including the new museum, bird life observatory, old cemetery, Baptist Church and more.

Hello....

I see that only the deluxe accommodation rooms have small refrigerators and microwaves in them......and they offer buffet style meals MAP and FAP plans, are there also restaurants in walking distance? Confused

I am seriously thinking of going out the Little Cayman mostly for the Diving dive opportunities, but think I might miss the wonderful choices of dining dine that Grand Cayman provides. As some of you know I drive a truck and buffet style dining is not so appealing to me Sad as I see it all too often on the road. However,.... I did so enjoy the Sunday Brunch Buffet at Portifino's! Mr. Green , is the buffet at Southern Cross comparable??? Confused

Has anyone dove with them? Any information would be appreciated! spin
