Thank you to everybody for all the great information on the island.

It has been a great tool in planning this trip.

The only question we have is... Can we bring our two year old to the stingray sand bar???

Hi tiki - Welcome to the forum. Very Happy

So long as you go with a place like Soto's Cruises where they take very small groups and pay special attention to everyone you will be fine bringing a 2 year old to Stingray City Sandbar. They will provide a small life jacket and appropriately sized mask and fins. It will be an experience that will be remembered for the rest of their life.

Of course, you will still need to properly supervise your own child and are ultimately responsible for its safety. Also please make every effort to ensure that the child does not create any disturbances for the other passengers. Wink

Thank you very much for the good news! We were worried we would have to hire a private boat to take us. I'm glad to know that there is no age limit.

our little guy has seen sting rays at other islands (while swimming at the beach), but they dont exactly swim over to you and let you pet them! he will love this! He loves the ocean and being on vacation. Will we be able to get the activity guide at the westin?

best bet is to pick it up at the airport........as soon as you pass thru CUSTOMS, there is a little counter to your right (before you get your luggage...and we're talking a SMALL airport here, so there is only the one counter) pick it up there or print out the coupons from this board.

The Activity Guide is the tall, thin one. Very Happy Andy's car rental also has them.

Celine, oh and WELCOME

tiki - The "little guy" is going to love it and remember the experience for the rest of his life.

We distribute to the Westin but they tend to run out as fast as we can deliver them. It would be a good idea to pick one up at the airport, near where you claim your luggage. Just ignore any other magazines you might see there next to ours. :-D

But seriously, Activity Guide is the only magazine that carefully screens all of its advertisers to assure you of reading about only the very places throughout the island. All the others will promote anyone willing to pay them to do so. You will always have a wonderful experience at any of the places you see in Activity Guide. Wink

How fun to take your toddler along, and how especially nice that he likes to swim and enjoy the ocean and sea life. Hopefully, you can post a trip report when you return and also, pictures....don't forget the pictures, please!

Thank you for asking this question. I just discovered this website and forum today while looking for things to do with our 2 year old while in port on a Disney Cruise next May. I don't generally care for ship tours and even if I did almost all of them have age restrictions that exclude our toddler. Good to know Soto's will be accomodating. I look forward to learning more about the Cayman Islands through the activity guide. Thanks!

Welcome to the forum KimberlyC Smile ,

So glad you found us and that you have enjoyed what you have been reading about so far.

Yes, not only is your two year old welcome on a Soto's Stingray Trip, but 3 and under are FREE! How about that!
