Ok Folks I've booked the morning trip to the stingray sandbar through Soto's.

The friendly lady on the phone gave me directions but I was wondering if I could get some directional advice from you guys as well. She tells me I should give myself 1.5 hrs to get there from where I'm at. Shock

She also talked about construction on Palm Heights Drive.

Being I'm left lane challenged I can use all of the help I can get.

Coming from Geargetown I'm about 2.5 miles past Portofino on Queens highway.

Would it be quicker to take Frank sound road from the home to Georgetown?

Should we take Crewe Rd then Harquall Bypass to get to Seven mile beach?

Thanks guys & Gals.

It would be quicker to take the Queen's Highway west, and go south on Frank Sound Road.

Sue is right on... take Frank Sound to A3 (A2) (it changes names quite a bit, but is the only road) and then take Crewe to go by the airport. Hit the Harquail Bypass at the roundabout and it will dump you right onto West Bay...

Have fun!!!

Ron,

You've already had perfect advise and directions from Sue and Jack....here's a map off of Soto's website showing their exact location once you get to 7 Mile Beach....you may already have this, though.

Have a great time with the Sting Rays!!

Are there any places that offer trips to Stingray City from the East End? If not does Soto's have free parking?

Hi josquared -

There are no East End snorkel trips to Stingray City that we recommend. A boat trip all the way from East End to Stingray City would be a very long journey through mostly rough seas. Soto's and Oh Boy offer the best price, intimate service and crowd free experiences and you will find all their contact information, videos, photos, etc. in our Stingray City forum. They both offer free parking and are well worth the drive from any part of the island.
