I read in a travel magazine that it is best to dive/snorkel Stingray City on a Sunday. Is that true and if so why?

Welcome to the forum!

Generally few, if any, cruise ships are in port which means that SRC is less crowded with big boats of people.

Hi gg,

It's not necessarily a Sunday that's 'ship free'. Check out the cruise ship itinerary to find the day that suits best. We went with Soto's on a Friday - no ships in town & very peaceful. We had a great time Snorkel
