My wife and I will be in Grand Cayman from April 27th to May 1st and want to book an excursion to stingray city. We were planning on booking with Soto but I stumbled upon this website ************** and they offer this Wave runner tour to Stingray city. I was wondering if anybody has have ever used them and if there is another company doing the same tour.

Welcome to the forum Reycruz Smile ,

I've heard a little bit about the tour that you are talking about, and all I can say is that this is definitely not a trip that we would recommend for lots of reasons. I honestly can't think of a worse way to visit the Sting Ray City Sandbar than by bombing in there on a wave runner. Yikes! I guess I'm just not a big fan of wave runners, but they just seem incongruous with the quiet of the North Sound and especially the Sandbar.

Also, from what I read, this will cost you at least twice as much as going with Soto's and you wouldn't get a snorkeling stop in addition to visiting the Rays. Just a visit to Rum Point that you can do on your own for free.

I second Char's advice, Sting Ray city is so calm and peacefull that enjoying your time there is almost magical, I don't think it would be fun to have wave runners interupting the surreal Stingray experience.

and I know I would resent having wave runners there if I were on the sandbar and trying to enjoy the unique experience of SRC
