Can you wait to get to where the boats leave at Sting ray City to book a snorkeling trip that day or do you have to book ahead? Who would you go with?

The boats don't all leave from the same place, for one thing........I would highly recommend booking your trip in advance, at least a day or two ahead.

We recommend Soto's Cruises, which hardly ever takes out more than 20 people on their boats and give great personal attention......I can now say this from personal experience, since I went with them in early March.

Have fun,

Char

I second Scubachar's advice, I've gone with Soto's many times and it is so enjoyable I've never considered any other company.

one thing I would advise tho, if you have the option, take an afternoon trip since I believe the cruise passengers always go in the morning

If you've never experienced stingray city you're in for an incredibly unique experience!
