I agree with Capt Jack.........Stingray City is just fine for Sr. Citizens. All you have to do is to be able to stand in chest deep water and have fun with the rays. I'm knocking on the door of "senior citizen" myself and believe me.....this is mighty tame.

The stingray sandbar is fairly easy -- you may need to climb in and out with a ladder. I tried the jet ski trip yesterday and am very sore today. It was hard for me (age 64, and admittedly not at all fit) to get back on it in the water, so I didn't do the additional snorkeling stop. The boat trips usually also include an extra reef snorkeling stop, but they can just stay on the boat if they're not comfortable snorkelers. Feeling the stingrays is pretty awesome (they're smooth and slippery);it can be pretty crowded out there with cruise ship people and lots of competiton for the rays (and I worry about them being overly mauled, but the tour guides seem to be pretty careful with them). No need to worry about safety; you stand in the water. It was kind of choppy yesterday, but it was still okay on the sandbar. (The first time we went a couple of years ago on a boat), it was much calmer, and a better experience).
