We arrived at GCM at 11:55am, shopped and were settled at Plantana by 1:30. We were on the beach by 2:05pm! They weren't kidding when they said "partial ocean view!" I could see it but Debbie had to stand on a chair!!

I know this is a simple thing to fix! I've got them all downloded to photo bucket but can't remember the trick to making them appear!

Mike,

All you have to do is to copy and paste the IMG code (third line down below the picture on photobucket).

If you have a LOT of pictures to show us, you can select the ones you want to post (checkbox) and then scroll down to the bottom of the page and select "Generate HTML and IMG Code"......that takes you to the next page, where you would select all the addresses in the box for "IMG Images for Message Boards" (4th one down). Then copy and paste all of them with one "paste" in your message.

Hope that helps!

Char

OOOOOOHHHHH! Guess what!!

I just looked at you original post and I "unchecked" disable BBCode in this post.....then your picture appeared! Who Knew?

Now, the picture is a little smaller than it needs to be.....did you upload all your pictures at that size? They can be as large as 640 x 480.

No matter.....we can still see it!

I may have to delete all of them and upload them again. I went to the resize function and it only let's me make them smaller not larger.

That makes sense because once you make them smaller, you "throw away" information, so if you then make them bigger, they won't look very good. You went to all the trouble to take these pictures and probably own a nice camera....might as well show them to us at their best.

Sorry for the extra work!

When you choose your "upload options" on Photobucket, choose "Message Board, 640 x 480".

I think it's probably still set on small from when I reduced the blow hole picture for my avatar!

Let's see if I got any smarter overnight!!

We had our first visitor of the trip before we headed to the beach - he stayed with us for the week but thankfully we weren't charged for his presence!

There were six cruise ships when we landed and they were still there when we hit the beach for the first time. The construction on SMB appears to be ongoing!

Since our first trip in 2005, it seems like the trees and plants are coming back to life. I thought this was neat - a new sapling next to a weathered hurricane survivor!

As we walked the beach waiting for our first Cayman sunset of the trip we strolled by the governor's mansion. I told Debbie that when I die I want to come back as the Governor of the Caymans - what a great perk!!!
