| My family and I was in Grand Cayman for the Thanksgiving Holiday week. We stayed at the Regal Beach Club on 7 Mile Beach and had the ocean front condo. This in my opinion, is the only way to go. You have a continuous view of the ocean. This was our first trip to the island and we did the Soto's cruise to Sting Ray City and also the Atlantis Adventure Semi Sub. We ate at Deckers on SMB and had the all you can eat lobster. We were very impressed. We did visit Aqua Beach Rest and Coconut Joes too. Our shopping trip to Georgetown was also nice. I did learn a lot from this forum which I read before we left for our trip. We left from Philadelphia Monday Nov 19, 2007 and there was snow on the ground but later that day when we arrived in GC it was 83 degrees. This place really is Paradise. Needless to say we didn't want to go home. We are already talking about another trip in the somewhat near future. Thank you for all the great information. Everyone here made our trip so much easier and enjoyable. |
