Me and my family are off to GC in 3 days time and I am worried about the weather forecast. Being a Brit we are obsessed about the weather........god knows why?



The forecast does not look all that good but is it really reliable, when it says showers, do they largely fall at one time of day and it is really sunny for the most part Cool ?



I was hoping to perfect my sandcastle building with my 2 year old so any comments on previous experience re the weather in Jan would be welcome. Very Happy

Welcome to the forum, phillh Laughing ,



We get asked this question so many times. All I can tell you is not to worry. If the forecast shows that there will be showers, it might mean that it will rain for a few minutes somewhere on the island ....maybe....



Of course, there are systems that can move through that can give you an all day rain, but that doesn't happen so often.



Bottom line is, you will have a wonderful time, no matter what. I'm sure the weather will be fine. It sure looks wonderful this morning on the live Royal Palms webcam, up in the upper right hand corner of this page.
