Just got off from working a 13 hour night shift and signed on- Either I have been working too much or the webcam has a different view. But did see a couple walking hand in hand this morning so i am jealous.

husker,

Well, I'm sure you ARE working too much Wink , but, yes, it certainly does look like someone at the Royal Palms moved the camera. Not sure if they did it intentionally Confused . Oh well, at least we can still see the water.

I just noticed that too! It is nice to see the ocean, but I like the view down the beach better.

I liked the other view better too! I just occasionally see people walking down the beach on this view although the water is great! But liked getting to see everyone down the beach and seeing the ships.

I know that Casey from Neptunes Divers would really appreciate the Web Cam being returned to it's original position. She told me in March that she logs on in the morning and counts the cruise ships so she knows what to expect at when she gets to the boat!!

The water looked so much bluer in the other view- and because you cant see the sky it just looks kind of dark all the time. Besides a third of the screen is taken up by that green umbrella. lol. And in the other view I could daydream of walking down along the beach.

If we get to the web cam, I will let them know CAG members are not happy. I'm not sure where Royal Palms is so, I will need directions.

Even though I've never been there, I too, liked the other shot better.

Tell you what..........DH is an engineer..........you send money and I'll have him design a way the cam only works where you want it. I think it would take at least an extra two weeks. Is it a deal? UpsideDown Shock

Just thought of something (I certainly don't like looking at the cam either). For those of you who have been there before, there must be some way you can contact Royal Palms and tell them people are unhappy with the cam. Hey where is our "fearless leader" when we need him? Razz Razz Razz Razz
