Paddle - Swim - Snorkel - Learn - Fun!
Located just minutes from Seven Mile Beach, departing from South Sound dock, kayak tour begins with a safety briefing and orientation on paddling techniques.
First Stop - Explore Red Mangroves and Wildlife
The red mangroves work to stabilize the beach and minimize erosion in storm conditions, but they also provide a safe habitat for juvenile fish, conch (say "conk"), and lobster. Be on the look out for these creatures as your guide outlines the relationship between the delicate sea grass beds and the extensive mangrove population Second Stop - The Alcove
This small, protected alcove is home to hundreds of Cassiopeia, otherwise known as "upside down jellyfish". Look closely into the shimmering waters and you will see their fragile bodies floating in the current. Watch and participate in fascination as you learn about these amazing creatures! Third Stop - The Reef
Their guide takes you to their private snorkeling platform and provides snorkel gear so you can explore pristine coral head and a multitude of tropical fish and sea life that gather to feast on the algae. The water depth in this area ranges between 4 1/2 - 5 1/2 feet.
Kayaks are all doubles - easy to paddle in comfort and safety to ensure a comfortable, fun and relaxing tour.
